About me
I have always loved a good story and my career has mostly been focused on telling them. Firstly, as a broadcast journalist, and later as a marketing manager, building a brand from scratch. But it wasn’t until 2024, when I lost my husband, that I understood which stories matter the most.
For me, it’s the memories of the adventures we shared as a family that I now cherish.
From us learning to snowboard as a young couple, to our very first overseas getaway with our girls – we had some brilliant adventures. We cycled around Holland on our bikes getting frequently lost. We joined a village-wide water fight during a rural Spanish festival. We enjoyed the chaotic heat of a Parisian summer with teenagers and a trip to Naples for the food and roman history where simply crossing the road required nerves of steel.
I started Josie’s Travel Labs because I wanted to take the professional skills I’ve honed – communicating, researching, developing expertise and building trust – and use them to help other people get the most out of their time off and adventures.
I know firsthand that a holiday isn’t “just a holiday.” It’s a chapter in you or your family’s story and I’m here to make sure it’s a great one.
